Start your weekend with globetrotting hipsters Van She

THIS weekend starts tonight with a DJ set by globetrotting hipsters.

Van She are playing a DJ set at the Plantation Hotel - a must see for fans of alternative tunes.

Also tonight, Coffs Hotel is hosting crossover jazz/dance king and FOX8 reality TV show The Stafford Brothers star Timmy Trumpet.

Saturday night sees the lovely Mei Wei Lim play C.ex Coffs, while at the Coffs Harbour Leagues Club Broken Fridge present the epic line-up of Forever and a Day + Smash Mystery + Intermission + Give 'Em Hell Kid + Neglections + Everything's Coming Up Milhouse, from 5pm.

Sunday afternoon is time to chill on the veranda at the Park Beach Surf Club's Sunday Sesh with 8 Ball Aitken and his Arnott's Biscuit guitar.

If you'd like to take a stroll you can catch Nick & Leisl at the Harbourside Markets.

End the weekend kicking up your heels with soul singer extraordinaire Lisa Hunt (pictured) at the Hoey - be prepared to dance.
