Things people got stuck in themselves in 2016

Sometimes people do the darnedest things. From live eels to a Buzz Lightyear toy, us humans seem to have a habit of sticking things up ourselves and winding up the butt of the joke.

Ring, Ring

THE strain was finally over for triple killer Kon Georgiou only 12 days after he inserted a phone up his clacker.

Splashdown happened in an observation cell at Goulburn Supermax earlier this year after Georgiou went on a hunger strike in an attempt to keep the banned phone safely tucked up in his you-know-where.

Georgiou claimed it was metalwork put in place after surgery and refused to remove it.

WARWICK police were surprised earlier this year when they discovered a suspect's secret hiding spot for his weapon.

During a strip search of the 21-year-old man, police said they noticed something "poking out" of his anus.

Further information about the insertion, extraction and what triggered the man to insert a 20cm-long piece of heavy metal inside his rectum were unclear.

It was 20 minutes into his stay at the Warwick watchhouse that police allegedly made the crack find.

The sex toy

A Melbourne emergency room doctor revealed a rather embarassing situation for a little too ambitious patient. The woman came into the ER recently, well-dressed, business suit, and calmly told us her husband would be home from overseas in two hours and she had a sex toy stuck in her bottom and she couldn't get it out.

They had to get a surgical team.

Pulling the pin

LITTLE Khloe Powell suffered for six months with a persistent running nose and doctors had no idea why.

Her mucous was green and had a very nasty odour to it. She was prescribed different kinds of medication, including several doses of antibiotics but nothing seemed to work.

Then one day Khloe blew her nose and out popped a safety pin. It wasn't small either, at 1.5 inches long (about 3.8cm).

Caffeine hit

A MAN, who did not give a reason, shoved a jar of instant coffee up his rectum - but not before piercing several pins into the lid.

Bottoms up

A FARMER had to tell doctors at the University of Mississippi Medical Center that he had a bottle stuck up his nether-region.

And how did it get up there? The 72-year-old used a nearby dumping ground to defecate. But when his wooden limb snapped, he fell back 'heavily' onto the glass bottle.
