'Girls' just want to have fun

THE Waratah Gadabouts are a group of ladies who love socialising - and they've got a pretty good excuse.

The Gadabouts are a group of ladies who are fundraising for the Waratah Respite Centre in Coffs Harbour - and do so with social outings.

“We have a social outing once a month and a luncheon once a month,” member Bettina Taylor said.

“There's no work involved, no cake making, no raffle ticket selling.

“All you need to do is come along and have some fun.”

She said it's about meeting new people and making friends, and all the money raised during the outings would remain in Coffs Harbour, helping local people.

For more information or to join the Waratah Gadabouts, phone Jill on 6653 2855 or Bettina on 6655 4303.
