A MAN will face court next week charged with multiple offences after allegedly stealing a piece of Star Wars memorabilia from a Coffs Harbour home.

Police allege a 33-year-old Coffs Harbour man broke into a house in Prince St at about 10am last Sunday when he was approached by the homeowner.

The accused then allegedly picked up a large Star Wars Storm Trooper statue and fled the scene on-foot.

A further alleged confrontation with a second occupant then occured on the driveway before the accused managed to leave the scene with the statue.

Later that night, the accused reported on bail to Coffs Harbour Police Station on other matters.

He was arrested and charged with intimidation and break and enter offences.

The accused was refused bail to before Coffs Harbour Local Court on Tuesday.
