HEALTHY babies were the best Mother's Day presents in the world for five local mums.

Four girls and one boy were delivered at the Coffs Harbour Maternity Ward between 1.44am and 8.47pm on Sunday.

Nicole Howarth welcomed into the world Olivia Jade.

Emma Batey is the proud mum of Layla Elizabeth.

Amanda Perkins welcomed her son Joseph Charles.

Amanda Holcombe named her daughter Kenzie Rose and Ashleigh Royale welcomed Ivy Jane.

Joseph is the third son of Amanda Perkins and Jamie Hudson, from Toormina, whose other boys are Izayah, 6, and Izaac, 5.

New mum Emma, from Coffs, said her dad shares baby Layla's birth date.

Ashleigh, also a new mum, from Woolgoolga, said Ivy came a few days early, "the best present you could ask for on Mother's Day."
