Snow on the plateau expected this weekend as cold snap hits

TEMPERATURES this weekend are expected to drop below freezing on the plateau and snow expected to fall right along the Great Dividing Range on Sunday.

The powerful cold front responsible for the upcoming snow outbreak is due to cross the Coffs Coast tomorrow night.

Wind chill conditions on Sunday are expected to make most places feel three to five degrees colder than the mercury suggests.

Armidale and Ebor are expecting snow falls with a good possibility Dorrigo will also receive a dusting of snowflakes.
