Telstra store unveils modern makeover
KINGAROY Shoppingworld's new Telstra store opens tomorrow, and it's said to be just as modern as its city counterparts.
Doors will open from 9am, and there will be plenty of free activities and give-aways on offer.
Store manager Jason Koy said he was keen to share the new look with customers.
"We are very happy with the new store and we see great potential to enhance our offering for the benefit of the local community through this new store expansion opportunity,” Mr Koy said.
"We'll complement the mix of retailers and retail service providers that will appeal to customers' every day needs.”
Kingaroy Shoppingworld centre manager Chris O'Rourke said it was a great development.
"It's great to see new developments in the centre for our customers,” Mr O'Rourke said.
"The store generated approximately 25 jobs during construction and further local retail jobs once the new store is open and actively trading, perhaps more later this year.
"We hope the local community will welcome the new-look store and we're looking forward to announcing the official launch details very soon.”
The official store grand opening is scheduled for later this month and will feature a special appearance from rugby league legend Darren Lockyer.
