Teenage dream for fashion blogger

SUNSHINE Coast Weekend Magazine's local fashion writer Tam Wrigley spent last Friday night with Katy Perry - and she liked it.

As a fashion ambassador for Myer Sunshine Coast and Myer Brisbane, Mrs Wrigley was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet with Perry to have a girl-to-girl chat about life, love and, of course, fashion.

Mrs Wrigley described Perry as amazing, inspiring and a damn good example for young women all throughout the region.

"She is absolutely divine," Mrs Wrigley said.

"She has my heart after that action-packed show with a whopping six costume changes in the space of two hours - now that's a fashion dedication.

"I've found a new best friend in Katy Perry."

Perry's prominent message for the evening was of hope.

"She really wants to communicate to us that anyone, no matter someone's age, gender or ethnicity, they can achieve whatever it is they dream of," Mrs Wrigley said.

The meet and greet organised by Myer is one of many specialised events that the Weekend Magazine contributor will be sharing with readers in the new publication.
