IF the three remaining North Coast Football clubs in the Northern New South Wales Solo Cup want to get into the quarter finals they would want to be good travellers.
Coffs United, Woolgoolga and Maclean have all drawn away fixtures for their Round 16 matches to be played on Saturday, May 29.
The Lions were in scintillating form on Saturday in their Solo Cup encounter but they now have to travel to Tamworth to face Oxley Vale Attunga.
Woolgoolga and Maclean need to make the trek to Lismore after both clubs were drawn to play in a double header at Goonellabah.
Woolgoolga will be facing the Byron Bay Rams while reigning premiers Maclean will play against Goonellabah.
Progression through to the next round would put the clubs within touching distance of the prize money on offer this year.
The competition, which encompasses all seven zones within Northern New South Wales constituency, carries a total prize pool of $10,000.
The Solo Cup will culminate in the finals to be held at Coffs Harbour’s BCU International Stadium in July.
TONIGHT’S grand final replay between Coffs United and Maclean is expected to be a fiercely fought contest.
Played at the Maclean Showground, the clash is a make-up fixture after both clubs were unable to play on the weekend due to Solo Cup commitments.
Another catch-up game being played this evening is between Sawtell and Woolgoolga at Toormina Oval.
Sawtell have made a slower than expected start to their 2010 campaign and would dearly love to collect the coveted three points tonight to give their season a kick start.
