RACES FASHION: See the stunning outfits from the Warwick Cup

FLORALS, lace and lots of colours graced the tents at the Warwick Cup today.

The race goers didn't let the rain get to them, with stylish jackets and shawls adding to the ensembles for Fashion on the Fields.

This year the judging was up to Tony Coates from Riverview Hotel Brisbane, Aly Torrisi from Hello World and Jacquie Ross and Kathleen moon from Black Pepper.

There eyes were looking out for sophistication, chic and on trend looks with pops of colours.

More than 20 ladies were nominated for this year's Best Dressed making the decision difficult for the judges.

"This has got to be the hardest year to judge," Mr Coates said

"Everyone was looking immaculate."

Despite a few tiffs between the judges they all came to the decision and it was the mixed print outfit of Amie Barclay which took out the top prize.

"The whole outfit coordinated," Ms Ross said.

"Every little detail although giving us different colours and prints each replicated and complimented each other."

Ms Barclay was wearing a TopShop design leopard print orange top, ASOS green floral skirt and paired with a buckle feature belt.

However it was her one of a kind Sonlia Millinery hat which had everyone stunned.

"Once I picked out the skirt and top we designed the hat to match," Ms Barclay said.

The outfit began as a school project for the Roma fashion teacher which earned her top marks today.

"I was teaching my students about print clashing and brought in the skirt and top to show them and the outfit just started building from there," she said.

The past Warwick local is a cup regular who loves coming back to catch up with old friends.
