Tarts a treat for morning tea

THE queen of the mock-cream tarts, who likes to be known as ‘Hutchie’, served up her favourite treat at the Breast Cancer Buddies Biggest Morning Tea yesterday.

Hutchie and group facilitator Ruth Cooper enjoyed the tarts affectionately nick-named ‘mushrooms’ at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden.

All money raised at the morning tea goes directly to the Cancer Council and Mrs Cooper said the fundraising is the least she can do.

Cancer Council NSW is hoping to raise $225,000 in the Mid North Coast and $12 million nationally, through Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
