FANCY yourself as a budding radio star?

Well, wonderful opportunities are about to open up with award-winning Nambucca Valley Radio.

Suitable candidates are welcome to become part of community radio by training as presenters with Radio 105.9FM. 2NVR.

The station consists of a vibrant, dynamic group of people who are passionate about radio, sharing their interests and serving the community.

A training weekend will be held on August 18-19 at the Tewinga studios in Rodeo Drive.

Potential maestros of the microphone will learn all aspects of broadcasting and then be guided and supported until ready to go solo 'on air'.

The training is available to all ages and interests - from those desiring a career as a reporter to those looking to work on the technical side of radio.

Information is available on the website at www.2nvr.org.au
