Sawtell swimmers out do themselves

WINTER training is still showing its effects with personal best swims still being recorded by many swimmers.

Again there is more than one taking the mantle of swimmer of the week with four personal best swims and a promotion.

Masie Duff is a delightful seven-year-old who is enjoying the warmth of the water and her new found Sawtell Swim Club friends.

Now training twice a week, Masie is developing great stroke technique and just loves the Friday night racing. When not in the pool basketball and physi keep her busy but loves reading and doing craft to unwind.

Darcy Newell is following on the family tradition and is heating up the water with some sizzling times which has resulted in four PB swims plus a promotion to C grade backstroke.

Congratulations Masie and Darcy on achieving this week Sawtell Swim Club's Swimmer of the Week.
