IT’S the end of an era at Park Beach Music & Hi Fi with the much-loved shop closing its doors at the end of June.

Owner Kevin Budge said although the decision was not an easy one, it was time for him and his wife Carol to take a well-earned break.

“We’ve been open for 33 years and it’s been wonderful. We have really enjoyed every minute of it, and many of our customers have become friends to us,” Kevin said.

“The support we have received is extraordinary. We have survived and thrived throughout the years, even when big name competitors have opened up around us, our customers have remained loyal and we just can’t thank them enough for that.

“But for the past 20 years we have been working seven days a week, so it’s time for us to take it easy.

“We will miss all of our customers and really want to thank all of them for supporting us for so long. It has been a real honour sharing our love of music with the wonderful people of Coffs Harbour.”
