Surprise in mail for 80-year-olds
CONGRATULATORY birthday messages are now available for people reaching 80, says Coffs Harbour MP Andrew Fraser.
“Previously, when a person turned 90 or 100 they received letters of congratulations from a variety of sources,” said Mr Fraser. “Recognition of attaining the significant milestone of 80 years can be requested through my office for those who are seeking to surprise their family and friends.”
Full name and address of the recipient and a birth certificate or statutory declaration will be required to process the request.
Letters of congratulations for those attaining 100 years of age will also continue, as well as letters of congratulations for people celebrating their 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries.
