Superclinic call for Coffs

APPLICATIONS to establish a $7 million GP Superclinic in Coffs Harbour are being invited by the Federal Department of Health and Ageing.

Advertisements appeared in national newspapers at the weekend for ‘location-specific' applications for funding from individuals and organisations to establish 11 GP Superclinics which are ‘accessible to and meet the health needs and priorities of local communities'.

Other locations offered $7million for a Superclinic in their community include Port Macquarie, Tweed Heads and Lismore.

Interested people should register on the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing tenders and grants website www.health.gov.au/tenders.

Applications for the Superclinics funding close at 2pm on December 21.
