1. Shocking road rage attack caught on dashcam
Sunshine Coast police made an example of a vicious and "stupid" road rage attack caught on dashcam footage, saying drivers behaving dangerously could end up in jail.
The Daily obtained footage of the January attack where a father-son duo was charged with assault and wilful damage after a brawl with another motorist at a busy Currimundi intersection.
2. 'Finger lickin' lunacy!' Shock over sudden closure of KFC
Noosa residents were down to their last finger licking fix with Sunshine Beach Roa Kentucky Fried Chicken closing its doors.
The restaurant shut over the weekend, leaving the Eumundi Rd store at Noosaville as the last one left.
3. $250m hotel plan lodged to change the face of Mooloolaba
The Daily published an exclusive story on Friday when a $250 million plan to change the face of Mooloolaba was officially submitted for approval.
Aria Property Group submitted its vision for an international-standard, five-star hotel and residential development opposite the Mooloolaba Surf Club.
4. Five injured after two-vehicle crash on major Coast road
Five people were hospitalised after a traffic crash on a major Sunshine Coast road on Wednesday, where a car rolled down a culvert.
The Daily published incredible photos of the scene, showing emergency services working to remove the car and a man being taken to hospital with reported spinal injuries.
5. Changeroom 'up-skirter' targeted mother-of-five
A man who "up-skirted" a woman in a Sunshine Coast changeroom only turned himself into police after his mother recognised him in CCTV footage.
Kyle Jamie Stawski, 27, targeted a mother-of-five when she entered the cubicle at a Maroochydore Rebel Sports store.
