Sun was short but sweet

JUST as we were all going stark raving mad, the weather finally broke yesterday. Jetty jumping was back on the outdoor agenda and Elliott Dunn and Taylor Schmidt (right) were giving it their all.

The welcome sunshine was a false dawn, however, according to fore- casters who say the miserable weather plaguing most of the State will come back with showers pre- dicted for the next four days.

Rain is forecast from the north today along with isolated thunderstorms accompanied by east to north-easterly winds. The Bureau of Meteorology expects isolated showers tomorrow will increase to areas of rain later in the week, with another wet weekend building on the horizon. Sounds terrific!
