Sun getting closer

HOT off the back of a huge festival season, Sydney Blues-rockers Chase The Sun are match fit and heading to the Coffs Coast to electrify audiences with their powerhouse live show.

After receiving widespread acclaim and a number of awards in their two years together, Chase The Sun is ready to rock the Seaview Tavern this Thursday night - and are intent on showing audiences why they were named the best instrumental performance at the 2008 MusicOz awards.

From the powerhouse live delivery of guitar star-on-the-rise Jan Rynsaardt, to the soul-tinged songwriting, and combined elements of old-school acoustic blues, Stevie Ray Vaughn boogie, hillbilly finger picking and Hendrix flash; this three-piece crank out a new take on a classic sound. The word on Chase The Sun is spreading rapidly.

• Don't miss Chase the Sun at the Seaview Tavern tomorrow night from 8pm - admission is free.
