CUTE AND CONFIDENT: Local kids have the opportunity to learn about making moves on the catwalk from an international expert.

WANT to learn how to walk the walk? HDSE Models International, an agency based on the Coffs Coast, is hosting classes with visiting international catwalk/posing coach, Mandy Dyonne.

"Mandy has worked with models and celebrities, including the Kardashians, and this is an opportunity for local kids to get instruction from a qualified catwalk posing coach,” Jay Jones of HDSE Models said.

"You get to walk your walk and have a qualified catwalk posing coach give you help. At the last class we had an 11 year old boy who after some coaching was told to 'walk like you own the place'. We turned on the music and he stuck his chest out and really surprised us all, especially his mother.

"Classes are suitable for girls and boys from eight years old, and designed for anybody who wants to learn how to walk the catwalk, improve posture and self confidence.”

Catwalk Coach Mandy Dyonne studied at the Amsterdam University of the Arts as a dancer, choreographer and instructor. She has coached models from Elite Model Look, One Management New York, Fusion New York, Silent New York and has collaborated with Alexander Wang and Emporio Armani.

She has walked as a national and international model for fashion shows including New York Fashion Week. After achieving her Masters in Psychology she immersed herself in coaching.

With Mandy you can expect to learn how to prepare for castings or to get signed to an agency, learn runway confidence, develop good posture and a powerful walk, how to pose for a photo-shoot and other dos and don'ts of how to become a model.

Classes limited to 10 places. Cost $75pp. Venue: The Professional Centre, Park Ave. Bookings 6659 2069. General inquiries 0429 453 948.
