Storytellers on the road

THREE storytellers have united to tour regional Australia and they are coming to a town near you.

The Australian Voices in Print Tour will feature three great Australian storytellers who write different genres: Karen Davis, crime fiction (Sinister Intent and Deadly Obsessions), Jenn McLeod, rural romance (House for all Seasons and Season of Shadow and Light) and Tricia Stringer, historical saga and romance (Queen of the Road and Heart of the Country).

Simon & Schuster and Harlequin are jointly behind the tour, which will visit Bellingen Library at 10.30am on Thursday June 4.

Simon & Schuster's Marketing and Publicity Manager, Anna O'Grady said they wanted to showcase three great authors in a mini touring festival.

"Regional readers don't often have a chance to meet great authors, so we decided to work together with Harlequin to deliver that experience."

Associate Publisher with Harlequin Australia, Jo Mackay, added "it's an exciting project that will give readers in regional NSW the opportunity to meet their favourite authors and perhaps discover a new one."

"These authors are very different, but what they have in common is that they all write immensely appealing stories, with authentic and passionate (Australian) voices."

Bellingen Shire Mayor, Mark Troy invites passionate readers and book-lovers throughout the area to attend this free event and asks that you contact Bellingen Library on 6655 1744 for bookings.

Author signed books will be available for purchase at each event and you can follow the tour on social media #ausvoicestour.
