OZTAG players from "The Shire" have continued their domination of tournaments staged in Coffs Harbour.

Like their senior colleagues have done on previous occasions, the visitors from Cronulla-Sutherland Stingrays finished with the greatest tally of titles at the three-day Australian Junior Oztag titles at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

Stingrays captured four boys age divisions and dominated the girls' division by capturing five of the nine finals played.

Next most successful was Wests Tigers, to maintain the supremacy of metropolitan-based teams.

While there were no specific Coffs Coast teams involved, organiser Bill Harrigan believes the first to represent the local area should appear at the 2015 staging.

"Now the event is established, expect to see local teams formed and come to join in next year," he said.
