Stellar line-up for Sawtell film festival

SAWTELL'S own International Film Festival kicks off next week on Thursday, October 30, with a stellar line-up for film buffs.

Officially opening the festival on Friday, October 31, will be controversial Australian film Not Quite Hollywood, labelled as a story of 'Ozploitation'.

Also screening at the festival will be critically acclaimed Son of Lion from Pakistan, French comedy Welcome to the Sticks, US drama The Visitor and UK documentary Garbage Warrior, which tells the story of maverick architect Michael Reynolds who built a home out of recycled waste.
