Stab victim keeps silent

A MAN has been treated at Coffs Harbour hospital for multiple stab wounds.

Paramedics and police rushed to Loaders Lane in Coffs Harbour on Sunday after 11pm when the 33-year-old local raised the alarm.

He was discovered with a total of four wounds – one to his lower right abdomen, one to his lower left abdomen, one to the right of his upper body near his shoulder, and another to his back near his shoulder blades.

He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where police allege he refused to give details of the incident to investigators.

He has since been released from hospital and police are now trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.

If you can help with the investigation, contact Coffs Harbour police on 6652 0299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
