St Augustine's fete a great success

COFFS Harbour Lions attended the annual St Augustine's School Fete, on November 12. It was as usual a very successful afternoon; the start time was 3pm, the children were then free to enjoy all the stalls at their fete.

We set up our jumping castle and there was, as usual, a constant line of eager kids ready to expend their energy and yelling with delight as they used their jumping skills to great effect. Lion John Skinner kept a watchful eye on the jumpers.

Also we had our fairy floss machine there. The day before, we made up dozens of bags ready for the rush of fete day.

Once again there was a constant line of eager children wanting a taste of fairy floss and we still had the kids wanting more right up to close-down time.

The fete was a great success and I am sure the school would have been very pleased with the funds raised.
