Speculation Soward won't play another game for Dragons

DRAGONS five-eighth Jamie Soward has been given time off to "clear his head" as speculation mounts he may have played his last game in the red-and-white.

Soward, who has signed a four-year deal with Penrith starting next season, did not train with his side yesterday, coach Steve Price not prepared to say whether the No.6 would be in the team to play Newcastle on Saturday.

"I gave him a couple of days off just to clear his head," Price told reporters.

"I had a discussion with Jamie and we'll just wait for a couple of days. We are just really focused on a good game come Saturday."
