THINKING about exploring the world on your own but wary of travelling solo? Why not join Helloworld Travel Coffs Harbour's Solo Travellers' Club?

Our Solo Travellers' Club was created in November 2016 as we found a need to help friends and past clients who no longer had a travelling companion, for one reason or another, but still yearned to travel.

We have 55 members and the numbers are climbing.

The club is open to all travellers who wish to meet like-minded solo travellers and, through our regular three-monthly meetings over a cup of tea, attended by guest speakers from our supplier network, we have been able to assist in introducing prospective travellers who wish to experience different destinations, both domestically and internationally.

We also keep in regular contact with our members, offering special deals (including occasional waived or reduced single supplements on tours and cruises) as they are offered periodically by our suppliers.

Our Solo Travellers' Club offers companionship when travelling and helps to minimise costs associated with single supplements, charged by many hotels/tour operators throughout the world.

We are happy to organise new small groups to any destination, as required by our members.

Earlier this year we hosted our first overseas Solo Travellers' tour to India (escorted by a member of our staff).

Fourteen women left Coffs Harbour on March 12 and, after travelling to Delhi, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Agra (where they visited the spectacular Taj Mahal), returned 16 days later (after a few days' stopover in Singapore) having had a fun-filled holiday but, importantly, having made lifelong friends who are looking forward to their next journey together.

This year we are offering exclusive tour options to Canada and Alaska and an amazing tour of Switzerland, including a seven-day river cruise.

Why not join Helloworld Travel Coffs Harbour's Solo Travellers' Club (free to all) by phoning us on 6652 6766 or call in to our agency at Park Beach Plaza (Target entrance).
