Small Biz bus to visit Coffs Coast next week

LOCAL small businesses can take advantage of high quality business assistance with the arrival of the Small Biz Bus.

The bus will visit Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour, giving local small business operators the chance to access personalised advice from business experts on November 3-4.

Small business owners can access the support of expert advisers on the Small Biz Bus at no cost to them.

The bus will stop at:

  • Corner of Beach and Wharf Streets Woolgoolga, on Tuesday from 9am to 2pm.
  • Park Beach Plaza Coffs Harbour (adjacent to the main entrance), on Wednesday from 9am to 3pm.

ETC Business Programs Manager Kevin Riddell encouraged the Coffs Coast business community to visit the Small Biz Bus whilst it is in the region.

"This is a great opportunity to connect with ETC's local business advisers who will be on hand to assist with any small business enquiries you may have," Kevin said.

To book an appointment on the Bus or to speak to your local Small Biz Connect adviser visit www.smallbusiness.nsw.gov.au/hop-on-the-small-biz-bus or phone (02) 6648 5400.

Coffs Coast mum Alison Heagney stumbled across the Small Biz Bus in September last year when she had first thought of the idea for her Magic Meatballs business.

"I saw the Small Biz Bus and thought I'd just walk in there and tell them my idea to see what they think," Alison said.

"And that's where I met Fiona from ETC".

Alison's business has grown over the past twelve months with her recent win of securing shelf space in 315 Woolworths stores through Victoria, NSW and QLD.

"I would not be where I am today without the help of Fiona and the Small Biz Connect team," she said.
