Sippel to continue rise on national cricket stage
COURTNEY Sippel is continuing to prove country cricketers have what it takes to take on the best in Australia.
The Murgon junior cricketer will pull on the teal once again this season as she re-signs with the Brisbane Heat for the Women's Big Bash League.
The Heat will be looking to defend their title in the inaugural stand-alone women's competition when their season starts against the Sydney Sixers on October 19.
Sippel, who has also played for the Queensland Fire in the women's national cricket league, is continuing to prove her case as one one of the state's emerging cricketing talents and will be looking to play her first game for the Heat as an all-rounder this season after being part of the squad last year.
