Sikh games now international

THE 2009 Sikh Games are shaping up to be the best yet.

A record 82 teams have registered to take part in the multi-cultural extravaganza coming to Woolgoolga April 10, 11 and 12.

“I can't believe how many entries there are,” 2009 Sikh Games committee secretary Stephen Thandi said. “It's amazing.”

Teams are descending on the Coffs Coast from as far away as Singapore and Malaysia.
