Winter Solstice Fair to showcase community

PREPARATIONS are under way for the Winter Solstice Fair, which aims to showcase community spirit on the Northern Beaches.

The fair will coincide with the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, on Sunday.

The event will be a family friendly opportunity for people within the community to share what they have to offer.

Local writers, jewellers, artists, musicians, healers and food producers will all be showing their goods on the day.

The main market, held between 11am and 5pm, will have stalls, demonstrations, readings, music, delicious food, kids' activities and more.

Between 7pm and 10pm you will be able to enjoy more music and fun at this community gathering.

Event organisers Annarose, Felicity and Chaitanya hope to make the fair a regular event.

The Winter Solstice Fair will be held at the Woolgoolga Community Village Hall with a gold coin donation for entry.
