A CHANCE to have their athletic and sporting ability assessed in front of AFL legends awaits the Coffs Coast youth next week.
Premiership coaches Kevin Sheedy and Paul Roos will be in Coffs Harbour on Tuesday.
They will be here as part of a star-studded line-up of presenters organised for the Talent Combine session which will be held on Tuesday.
Already more than 40 local players aged between 12 and 15 years have entered to be part of the program where players’ abilities will be measured in a series of tests as well as footballing drills.
The program will be hosted not only by the great coaches but also two-time premiership captain Tom Harley and current State under-18s coach and former Australian representative Nick Stevens.
Next week’s Talent Combine is an opportunity for players to be considered for selection to the Swans Academy (Northern Coast) which will be launched next month.
The day-long session isn’t just restricted to AFL players.
With an eye for talent that comes from any background, organisers have announced that any athletes, regardless of their AFL experience, are welcome to attend.
Information regarding Tuesday’s Talent Combine is available by contacting the AFL Northern NSW office on 6658 4823.
