Show a success

THE showbags are sold out and the rides have moved on but Coffs Harbour Show has been labelled a huge success.

“It's been a fantastic weekend, far beyond our wildest dreams,” Coffs Harbour Show Society president Kaye Hanson said.

“The weather has been perfect.”

Highlights over the weekend included the FMX Chaos motorcross riders, equestrian events, the fireworks and the demolition derby held yesterday.

Jessica Wilson was named Coffs Harbour Showgirl, and Jasmin Phillpott was runner-up.

“We'll defintely be back bigger and better next year, and we're always looking for volunteers to help us organise,” Kaye said.
