Sharks lose James Segeyaro to broken arm

THE Sharks have been dealt a blow with hooker James Segeyaro to miss the next six weeks with a broken arm.

The rake, who recently signed from English Super League club Leeds, is set to undergo surgery after picking up the injury in the 11-2 grand final re-match win over the Storm in Melbourne on Sunday.

Segeyaro, who broke the same arm earlier in his career, played a lot of the game with the injury but scored the only try of the contest.

X-rays revealed the extent of the injury yesterday.

Meanwhile, Melbourne centre Will Chambers is out of Saturday's clash with Manly after pleading guilty to a shoulder charge on Cronulla's Wade Graham.

The Queensland back received a one-game ban and will be free to play the Warriors in round eight.
