Search warrant leads to long list of charges

A MAN is set to appear in court after he was charged with a number of offences following the execution of a search warrant at Urunga.

About 12.30pm on Wednesday, police from the Mid North Coast Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a house in Odalberre Dr following an investigation into an alleged break and enter at Urunga.

Police allege they located and seized items of clothing, computer equipment and ammunition at the house.

A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Macksville Police Station.

He was charged with two counts of break, enter and steal, contravene restriction in apprehended violence order, enter enclosed lands without lawful excuse, two counts of goods in custody and possess ammunition.

The man was refused bail and will appear in Macksville Local Court on May 5.
