Search continues for missing teacher Sharon Edwards

POLICE addressed media in Lawrence this afternoon in relation to the Sharon Edwards case.

54-year-old Sharon Edwards was last seen between 10-11pm on Saturday March 14, 2015 in Grafton.

Sharon Edwards' red Holden Cruze is now parked outside the Lawrence General Store in hope it will jog someone's memory as to the Grafton teacher's whereabouts.

It is unknown whether her car was in the area at the time before her disappearance on March 14, as it was found parked at her Riverdale Crt home in Grafton, but police hold hopes it may spark a lead.

Police have been door-knocking in the Lawrence area yesterday and today, speaking with more than a dozen locals.

The police command truck is also parked outside the general store.

Police revealed they spoke with Sharon's estranged husband John Edwards earlier today in what was a general wellbeing check and to return some of his property.

Investigators are appealing for community assistance to find Sharon Edwards and anyone with information is urged to call Grafton Police Station on 6642 0222 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
