Nana Glen artist's sensational solo show

JERAMIE Carter's one-man exhibition of sculpture and jewellery opens on Friday, November 7, at the Greenstone Gallery at Emerald Beach.

Visitors who attend the opening from 6-8pm on Friday will see a hand-picked compilation of the artist's work over the last five years.

On view will be a new line of jewellery from the Nana Glen-based artist which has 'a real garden and nature theme'.

In recent years Jeramie has been exploring themes of seeds, pods, timber and shoots and says while he has often thought of other directions, he has loved these themes so much he could never let them go and continues to develop them.

“It's a bit of a retrospective really,” Jeramie said.

“In this show will be one of the first pieces I ever made – a silver gumleaf bangle made from the exact replicas of two gum leaves forged out of silver sheet and bent to form a bangle.

Pre-Christmas buyers will also score a bonus – a pair of pearl earrings.
