Saints romp in

SAWTELL/Toormina celebrated their Sponsors Day with a strong win over a spirited Grafton at Richardson Park, just as expected.

The writing was on the wall in the first-half with the Saints keeping the Tigers to a solitary behind.

While Ben Hooke kicked another eight-goal haul, the Saints were wasteful up forward under the pressure of the Grafton defence.

The Tigers came to life in the second half in an effort that briefly belied the positions of either side on the competition ladder.

Justin Darby was in scintillating form and featured heavily in the action for Grafton.

Sawtell, however, were several classes above, with Simon Taylor and Jack Gillingham again prominent, as was Ethan Kelly in the middle.
