Run-abouts call patrol for help
COASTAL Patrol was kept busy yesterday with two run-abouts running into motor trouble within a few hours of one another.
About 9am the patrol received a call from a 6m run-about with two people aboard stuck about one nautical mile east of the Split Solitary islands.
Then at 11.10am, a 5m run-about, also with two people, called for help off Park Beach after experiencing motor problems.
Both were hastily rescued, each being towed back into the harbour within a couple of hours.
