League legends turn out to farewell Changa

A HOST of rugby league's biggest names have turned out for the funeral service of St George legend Graeme Langlands on Monday.

The likes of Steve Mortimer, Bob McCarthy and Mick Cronin were among the hundreds who were present at Woronora Memorial Park in Sydney's south, along with former Dragons stars Craig Young, Mark Coyne, Graeme Wynn, Ben Hornby, Dean Young and Paul McGregor.

Langlands, one of the eight rugby league Immortals, passed away on January 20, aged 76.

He played 45 games for Australia and 227 for St George, and was part of the Dragons' golden age of the 1950s and 1960s.

He had lived in a Sydney nursing home suffering Alzheimer's disease for the last several years.
