This is rubbish

LAST time I took a couple of boxes of rubbish to my local tip at Coramba it cost me $5.

The other day it cost me $9, no doubt, the Coffs Harbour City Council will probably tell me, due to the carbon tax.

I am a supporter of the carbon tax but I think such a price rise is totally outrageous.

I try to do the right thing and dispose of my rubbish thoughtfully, and so am penalised by this greedy council.

I am also a participant in the annual Clean Up Australia Campaign and I can just imagine how much more rubbish I will have to collect from now on.

With this outrageous price rise people will dump their rubbish in the bush or just throw it on the side of the road.

I don't blame the carbon tax, I blame the greed and opportunism of this council.
