RTA helping to weather storm

COFFS Harbour MP Andrew Fraser has welcomed the relief being offered to residents hit by the March 31 storm from Roads and Traffic Authority.

“The Minister for Roads, Michael Daley, has extended the assistance measures that he announced on February 20, following the earlier flooding, and I welcome his support.

“The RTA is able to replace licences, photo and Mobility Parking Scheme cards and vehicle registration documents for residents whose documentations has been lost, damaged or destroyed during the recent storm,” Mr Fraser said.

“There are a number of transactions that can be processed at no fee for flood victims, such as the re-issue or remake of number plates, the replacement of Certificates for Registration, the replacement of registration labels, the replacement of driver license, the replacement NSW Photo Cards and the replacement Mobility Parking Scheme cards.

“Victims of the storm who need any of these items replaced should contact the RTA for assistance,” Mr Fraser concluded.
