Rowe is top player

COFFS Tigers cricketer Nic Rowe may have been disappointed with his team losing the grand final on the weekend but at least he received some consolation.

At the post-match presentations, the all-rounder was named both the 1st grade player of the year and the Bill Rae Memorial Medallist.

The player of the year award is considered Coffs Harbour’s top individual honour and is based on players receiving points based on the runs, wickets and catches each player has next to their name throughout the season.

The Bill Rae Memorial Medal is the award that the umpires give to the player who they judge to be the best and fairest player for the season.
