Roosters pair set to win fitness race

KEY Sydney Roosters pair Luke Keary and Daniel Tupou are expected to fit for Saturday's preliminary final against North Queensland.

Keary sent a scare through the Tricolours camp yesterday when he was sent home with food poisoning. He was expected to be back for training today.

"He's just a bit crook," skipper Jake Friend said. "He should be right. I think he just ate something a bit dodgy on the weekend.

"He came in this morning but we told him to get out of here."

Tupou had suffered a slight flare up of the groin injury saw him miss a month before returning for the qualifying final win over the Broncos.

"The body is going good. The groin is going good," Tupou said.

"I just tweaked a bit of scar tissue at the back end of that game. I pulled up pretty sore. But it still feels alright.

"I'm available. I trained all week with the boys, pulled up sore at some stages but in the end pulled up sweet."
