Road works in Coffs Harbour this week

ROAD works will be carried out on the Pacific Hwy at Combine St intersection this week.

Roads and Maritime Services will carry out the work for two nights from Tuesday, June 23, between 7pm and 6am.

Lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place on the Pacific Hwy while work is carried out.

Motorists may experience delays of up to five minutes and should allow extra travel time.

The work is being carried out as part of Roads and Maritime's commitment to ensuring roads on the north coast are safe.

There will be noise associated with the project but every effort will be made to minimise the impact on residents and businesses.

Work will also be carried out tonight to improve the Pacific Highway Sawtell Rd overpass at Boambee.

The maintenance work will take place from 7pm to 6am, weather permitting.

To ensure the safety of road users and workers there will temporary lane closures and reduced speed limits in place.
