Road work extended for Pacific Hwy

ROADS and Maritime Services are advising motorists of changed traffic conditions for the Pacific Highway for the Nambucca Heads to Urunga upgrade.

Due to poor weather conditions, night work on the Pacific Hwy to upgrade Ballards Rd interchange at Urunga has been extended to Friday, May 29.

The work is to remove the existing wire rope barrier and carry out road resurfacing and is being carried out between 7pm and 6am, weather permitting.

During work alternating traffic conditions will be in place.

An RMS spokesman said road users should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs, including a reduced speed limit of 40km/h.

Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this important road upgrade work.
