Hwy upgrade will be ready for the next school holidays

MANY a traditional family school holiday trek has seen a snarl up and down the Pacific Hwy.

The next time school holidays come around, the traffic hold-up between Sapphire and Arrawarra will be no more.

Roads and Maritime Services has confirmed the Sapphire to Woolgoolga upgrade will be open by the time the September/October holidays arrive.

And with a speed limit of 110kmh for the entire 25km section of road, locals and tourists alike should be able to get from Campbell Cl to Arrawarra Beach Rd in less than 14 minutes.
