V8 girl revved up for success

SHARNA Rushby could be the face of the 2010 V8 Supercars but she needs your help.

The 22-year-old beauty, born and raised on the Coffs Coast, has been selected as one of six Queensland finalists in the Miss V8 Supercars competition and now has her sights set on the national final.

“I’ve never done any modelling or anything like this before,” Ms Rushby said.

“But I entered this year because it’s really professional and I wanted to do something completely different from my job, have a new experience.

“It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and being an ambassador for the company for a year would be fantastic.”

A medical assistant during the day, Ms Rushby said she’s had a lot of fun so far and would love to take out the title.

But she needs your help – the final decision rests in the hands of the public in the form of online voting at www.missv8supercars.com.au.
