Revealed: The most popular baby names for 2016 (so far)

THE names have been tallied and a top 10 baby names for 2016 - so far - revealed.

Namberry, one of the largest online baby name websites, released the list last week.

Coming in at number one for girls is Olivia.

Namberry said this is the first time Olivia has taken the top spot, unseating popular name Charlotte. 

For boys, the most popular name is Ezra. 

Namberry said there are only two new names on this year's top 10 for boys with Wyatt and Levi replacing Jasper and Jude.

And for girls, there are three new A names taking over from Lucy, Cora and Evelyn.

So here are the top 10 baby names for 2016 (so far):

Namberry said their name rankings are based on the "most-visited of the nearly 20 million views of our individual name pages in the first three months of this year".
