TOOWOOMBA's CBD was flush with green, orange and white yesterday as the city's Irish contingent took to the streets for the annual St Patrick's Day parade.

More than 100 people joined in the march, which started out from the Irish Club Hotel around 10am.

The parade, which has been running every year for the last two decades, provides an opportunity for Irish ex-pats and those of Irish descent to get together and socialise.

This year, Peter Kenny dressed up as St Patrick for the parade.
